Public bug reported:

Booting Feisty bèta lasts way too long, all of a sudden. The culprit is the
following.
The boot process hangs for minutes on this item:
"Configuring network interfaces"

Hardware:
Notebook Sony Vaio VGN-BX296VP, Pentium Mobile 1,7 Ghz, 1 GB RAM, Intel
Centrino wireless, Intel Graphics card.

This is a common experience on the Dutch Ubuntu forum right now, with
all kinds of hardware. An init problem?

Greetz, Pjotr.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
