I don't know if I should add this here or in a new bug. When I start knetworkmanager (using a network defined in /etc/network/interfaces, not in knetworkmanager), it doesn't realize I'm already "connected" (KWifiManager does) and then KDE applications (like kweather, kopete) start behaving like there's no connection. When I close knetworkmanager, they go back to normal.
