Hi David! Using 'position_fix=1' do nothing for me.I'm using ONLY 'single_cmd=1' command.Any other command or combination not give more positive effect,than not command at all. But 'single_cmd=1' NOT work with alsa 1.0.18rc3 (Ubuntu 9.04) and alsa 1.0.23 (Ubuntu 10.10).or after upgrade alsa to v.1.0.23 under Ubuntu 9.04. Anyway,I'm not try combination of 'position_fix=1' and 'single_cmd=1' together,but if it is important ,I can try this for you. And, I want to write 'firmware path' for final and permanent solution.I think I've got all necessary information to do that.But I've NO IDEA where to find and enable 'CONFIG_SND_HDA_PATCH_LOADER=y' to be able to do that?Any help with that pls.
