Hi *, unfortunatley, I am able to reproduce it quite easily! ;o)
I am trying to create a slide show with music of our holiday pics for a christmas DVD (you now, for the grandparents ;o) This is what I do: 1. open console 2. Start pitivi by "PITIVI_DEBUG=*:5 GST_DEBUG=2 /usr/bin/pitivi > debug.log 2>&1" 3. File/Open -> open a formerly used xptv-File This will load 368 Jpeg-Images and one ogg-File on the Clip-board. I already added the audio and 10 pics to the timeline and made some cuts. The error occurs when I add more Jpegs to the timeline (drag & drop). Sometimes after the first picture, sometimes it takes a couple. However, after just a couple of minutes of work it first freezes, then after a couple of seconds it turns grey. I did wait up to 15 minutes to revive, but all I can do once it turns grey is to kill it. As I save the file after each step, I am able to continue my sisyphus task... pic by pic... It seems to crash earlier, the more stuff is on the timeline, but that might just be a feeling. quite-off-topic: You do a great job! Keep going!
