Hi I confirm the Bug on a Asus EEE 1001HA but only using Totem, VLC works perfectly. Renaming the .pulse directory solves the problem but after this i can not access to Audio preferences. The system give me this message: "Waiting for a audio system". After a system reboot everything works fine (but i think a simple log out solves the problem too).
