Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Hello all,

I add a 'brightness applet' to top gnome-panel. After reboot PC I see a icon is
like
missing... I found one black pixel in old palace - it show a hint ~'LCD
backlight
brightness: 100%' and I have be sure it's a my brightness applet.

This situation I have before on Ubuntu 10.04 and on my current Ubuntu
10.10.

I attach a screen to this document.
This is reproducable, I can do test of these.

Ubuntu 10.10
gnome-power-manager: 2.32.0-0ubuntu1
upower: 0.9.5-4
dbus: 1.4.0-0ubuntu1
libnotify1: 0.5.0-2ubuntu1
