Add to previous comment to clarify: Some ports detected the mouse (and turned it on, visibly by powering on the LED), others didn't, but the mouse didn't work on any port (failing with unable to enumerate USB). Perhaps it is important to state that Logitech Mouse failed once and stopped reconnecting to the system, while Razer BoomSlang gaming mouse kept cycling and failing with a different error.
