Thanks. So it seems this is a kernel bug then, if the ioctl to set the
correct key codes doesn't work, there is not much we can do about it at
the udev level. At least it expains why the patch doesn't work for you.
We still need it once the kernel is fixed, though.
At this point I don't know how to debug this further, I'm sorry. Handing
this off to the kernel gurus.
