I get this error too on an HP Pavilion m9400f AMD Phenom X4 9750. I'm not sure what my motherboard is. Since upgrading to 10.10 I spend a lot of time in this bug department. I also get service startup messages splattered on screen in low graphics mode on startup and shutdown, audio noise every 60 seconds.
