Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: installation-guide-i386

When booting from the Ubuntu 10.10-desktop-i386 CD to the Try screen,
there is not any gnome panel or task bar. After install and re-boot, the
same problem exists but there are also no icons installed to the desktop
and there are not any programs accessible. The processor is a Celeron
466 MHz with 384 Meg PC-133 DRAM. 16 GB Hd space plus network card. Used
the i 386 download CD. I could not find any specification for minimum
system.

** Affects: installation-guide (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
