Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vlc
I was playing some wmv files and there didn't seem to be any problem. I turned off the machine, and when I booted this morning, apport told me it had crashed. Perhaps it didn't unload from memory when I closed it last night before shutting the machine down, as I've seen that happening in Windows (vlc not unloading from memory when you close it, but that might have nothing to do with anything).
