Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.20-14-generic

I'm using a Intel integrated sound card in a Samsung Q35 laptop.

lspci -v:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition
Audio Controller (rev 02)
        Subsystem: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd Unknown device c504
        Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 22
        Memory at d8240000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
        Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
        Capabilities: [60] Message Signalled Interrupts: Mask- 64bit+ Queue=0/0
Enable-
        Capabilities: [70] Express Unknown type IRQ 0

In 2.6.20.13 the sound works great (With options snd-hda-intel
single_cmd=1 model=laptop-eapd added to /etc/modprobe.d/options) but in
2.6.20.14 the sound drops out when the master volume is altered at all.
As far as I can see it can only be brought back by a restart.

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
