Public bug reported: Binary package hint: udev
I filling this bug against udev, as ubuntu "reporting a bug" page sugested this for invalid or wrong hotkeys. The problem is the Hp TouchSmart 600 Microsoft eHome keyboard has invalid brightness adjustment and monitor shutdown keys. The most important is the last hotkey, as HP Touchsmart 600 Pc has no monitor shutdown key, being the keyboard the only way to do so. I must mention at ubuntu instalation I selected any of the HP keyboard, as my keyboard model was not listed. Hope the info provided helps, if you need more info just ask. Thanks! PS: In the meantime, is there any custom command to be put at hotkey configuration software in ubuntu system>settings to enable monitor shutdown and brightness adjustment?
