Public bug reported: Nautilus desktop icons should not be allowed below the launcher (with or without the autohide mode). That will avoid flickering when people wants to switch between the two modes.
Same reasoning will go then for preventing nautilus resizing itself when the launcher is not in autohide mode. It should just crop the wallpaper (and thus, not reacting to _NET_WM_STRUT). ** Affects: unity Importance: High Assignee: Didier Roche (didrocks) Status: Triaged ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Didier Roche (didrocks) Status: Triaged ** Changed in: unity Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: unity Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: unity Assignee: (unassigned) => Didier Roche (didrocks) ** Also affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Didier Roche (didrocks) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/684649 Title: Nautilus desktop icons should never be under the launcher -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
