Thanks for the patch. I've sponsored this, so it should build and be available for Natty shortly.
In the future, if you've already prepared your change as a bzr branch, it's easier if you propose merging that branch into the Ubuntu branch instead of subscribing ubuntu-sponsors to the bug (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DistributedDevelopment/Documentation/SeekingSponsorship. Note that you should only ever need to do one - create a merge proposal or subscribe sponsors) I am a little concerned about the long-term maintainability of this package, since it hasn't seen any upstream updates in almost 3 years. More urgently, though, I'm concerned about its dependence on Numeric. The Numeric module was replaced by NumPy almost 5 years ago, and I'm confident that it's only a matter of time before Numeric is removed from Ubuntu. I think it would be very productive to update ggz-python to use NumPy, especially if you can get in touch with upstream and coordinate such a patch with them. ** Changed in: ggz-python (Ubuntu) Assignee: Evan Broder (broder) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474734 Title: Should depend on python-numeric -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
