Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-commander

gnome commander 1.2.8.5 running on Ubuntu 10.04 is connected by ssh to a
Ubuntu 10.04 server. On the server is a file which I have examined with
ls -l

-rwxr--r-- 1 moe users 20 2010-12-12 12:17 moe.txt

As shown the owner is "moe" and the group "users".

If I examine the properties of the file by right clicking in gnome
commander I am shown that the owner is "root" and the group is "root".
This appears to be incorrect.

Gnome commander does show the access permissions of the file correctly.
