Wow, a comprehensive guide, I would like to see that. My email address is plastered all over LP and is in the Me TV about dialog, but here it is again, michael.lamo...@gmail.com. If you are being booted out to the login page then this not a Me TV issue, I can almost guarantee that your X server is crashing. I don't know how you get any support with Mint here, you'll need to raise it with them to see if they are fixing the issue or sending it upstream.
One last thing to try is to use the "-s" option on the command line which starts Me TV in a kind of "safe mode" which will show the preferences dialog without trying to tune to a channel first. From there you'll want to select a difference video driver, xshm is usually a good one. I'm not sure at which point the X server is crashing but it's usually when the video is being rendered i.e. this is just a guess. Let me know how you go. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/677045 Title: Linux Mint 10,64bit Me-tv shortcut goes to log in!! -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
