Public bug reported: Binary package hint: qcad
After installing qcad, I was happily editing my document, starting with lines, but when I got to added text nothing appeared. I noticed that the font selection dialog was blank, so figured it might have something to do with fonts. I then discovered that "fonts" where mentioned in the package description of qcad-data, installed that, and then re-opened my document. Lo and behold, there were my dozen test texts scattered all over the place! So, qcad will in fact add text without qcad-data installed, but is unable to display them or configure their font type. As a result, I think the qcad package should Depends or at the very least Recommends qcad-data. Environment: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx", amd64 ** Affects: qcad (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/690012 Title: qcad should have dependency on qcad-data -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
