Same behaviour in Ubuntu Natty alpha 1. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open network connections. 2. Add a new network connection 3. Select the tab "IPv4 settings" and set method to "Manual" 4. Click add to add a new address. 5. Type in an IP-address (1.2.3.4) 6. Hit tab to move to the next column. 7. Attempt to type some numbers.
Expected behaviour: What is typed is added to the netmask. Actual behaviour: The text typed appear in a textbox below the list of IP-addresses, so it seems to be searching for results in the list matching what is typed. ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/565478 Title: manual IP entry does not behave as expected -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
