Having the same problem and googled a lot of forums where everybody says, just delete ~/.kde/share/config/audexrc I have to ask my question now.
Problem is, that I can't find this folder. All I find is audexui.rc in the location root/usr/share/kde4/apps/audex but this file is restricted and can't be changed nor deleted. Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong? Maybe it helps saying that I use Ubuntu 10.10 GNOME + KDE For any further details just give me a shout.
