Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin-audacious

After having updated from 10.04 to 10.10 yesterday, I noticed pidgin-
audacious stopped working. When trying to enable the plugin, it is
grayed out and Pidgin spits an error message: Error: undefined symbol
'audacious_remote_is_playing'. Audacious has been updated to 2.4.0
during the upgrade, PIdgin was already latest as I'm using their PPA to
manage updates. I made various tests, such as trying to rebuild the
package from source, but no luck. It appears to be a linker issue, can't
tell exactly what's wrong. I'd say this bug is a regression.

** Affects: pidgin-audacious (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
