installed 2.6.37-rc7 everything works perfectly with 10.10 thanks so much for the fix! i am now about to finally, and (hopefully) forever remove windoze 7 from this computer. the only reason i kept it was for the media card support, but now that it works in ubuntu, screw MS :) you guys literally have no idea how happy this makes me... my christmas is much brighter now haha
