Hi. The Japanese font problem of scinote is seen by 5.3 releases and current-head. default font of scinote serves as "Lucida Sans Typewriter." . However, It cannot express Japanese... I considered which corrects without problem in other countries whether things could be fixed. it can solve a problem by attached patch.
