  I admit it I did a little tweaking in my bashrc change my original
  prompt to "> " and added some colors to it. Using up arrow key to search
  for my previous issued command and edit, moving the cursor to the start
  of the commands the cursor will not move.

Title:
  Cursor wont move using backspace and left arrow key:  I tried to search my 
previous commands using up arrow key and edit the issued command but the cursor 
wont continue to move at the beginning of the command.
