Oh, sorry about that! The problem is the following: When I plug in my headphones, I wish that the computers' internal speakers would mute. However, they do not. I have, as I mentioned above, tried to edit the controls in alsamixer (and also in xfce4-mixer) but I cannot see how I am to mute the speakers entirely when i plug in a 3,5 mm jack in the audio-output-jack on the soundboard.
