It would be very more simple and very great to do "relatives links" like on the Internet : "Document.odt" when the document is in the same directory. "Documents4/Document5.odt" when the document is in the directory "Documents4" in the same directory. "../Document2.odt" when the document is in the parent directory. ../Documents2/Document3.odt" when the document is in the parent directory, then in the directory "Documents3".
