Same situation here. Can you be a bit more specific of what you require and possibly some steps to debug the clock applet? The clock applet seems to go ahead 20 minutes in time after 5-6 hours or after 24 hours have passed since the last resynchronization (manual or by ntp). Disable any ntp server syncs and I guess you'll see it as well.
