ClamTk should have no impact on the screensaver and I am unable to
duplicate this problem. I have both Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 in virtual
machines, and the screensaver works fine with ClamTk installed.

I'm happy to help, but I'm not an Ubuntu expert - so if anyone out there
wants to help diagnose this problem, that'd be great.

Robert, can you open a terminal window and type "clamtk" (no quotes) and
tell me if any error messages pop up? Also, please type "ps -ef" in the
terminal window - let's see if anything weird is running which would
interfere with the screensaver process.
