I have found a way to fix the issue. If I do the line below it works. sudo modprobe cx88_dvb
So I added a line with "cx88_dvb" in /etc/modules so I wouldn't have to do it on every boot. What I don't understand though is why it isn't needed in any 2.6.17.x version of the kernel but is in 2.6.20.x Looks like it might happen to a lot of people too, I got the fix from this guy running Fedora core 5 http://www.archivesat.com/MythTV/thread2966707.htm He had a Hauppauge Nova-T USB, another cx88_dvb based tuner. -- DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Plus fails to register with any 2.6.20.x kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104003 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
