Hi, This may be a grub1 problem; we were running this kernel version under grub1 (because that's what vmbuilder does) and KVM and had two machines fail to boot. Editing the "root" kernel parameter from the UUID to /dev/sda1 and booting allowed us to boot correctly. Upgrading to the latest kernel seemed to fix this regression.
