Confirmed. Installed ubuntu 10.10 netbook edition recently. Only way to get unity to show again is using a shortcut to open any other program (like a terminal), then it will reappear. Also, when starting firefox again, it is using the whole screen but still showing all toolbars and the menu. After pressing F11 the window is no longer maximised, as if Alt + F5 had been pressed.
