Hello Fabrice, thank you for the handholding. > so the process would be : > - generate a debdiff between the current Debian package and the > package you want to see in Ubuntu (it may be the case that no > changes are required anymore). If no changes are required anymore, > just states here that it's a sync from Debian experimental (or you > may use requestsync for that) IMHO a straight sync is sufficient. I will upload hugin 2010.4.0+dfsg today to experimental (changes over rc3: bumped version, updated list of Uploaders.). This way Ubuntu can have a proper version number. Package: hugin Version: 2010.4.0+dfsg-1 Sync-from: Debian/experimental Current Ubuntu changes: * Add a dependency on autopano-sift-c | autopano-sift * Change hugin control point defaults to work with autopano-sift (mono version) instead of autopano-sift-c Rationale for dropping Ubuntu changes: While the newer hugin could still be patched to support autopano-sift by default I do not think it is necessary anymore, since the new hugin version includes a cp-detector. autopano-sift is dead upstream and patent encumbered. > - subscribe sponsors (I won't be able to have a look before Sunday) I would appreciate if somebody else could do this, my lp-address is spam-free yet. (523093) If that is not possible I could do it anyway. thanks, cu andreas -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/696576 Title: [needs packaging] Latest Hugin 2010.4.0 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
