Do other machines in your network find your printer? Can you post the
output of the following commands (run them in a terminal window):

lpinfo -v
hp-probe -bnet -mslp
hp-probe -bnet -mmdns

if you could find out the IP address of your printer, run the following
commands in a terminal window:

sudo apt-get install nmap
sudo nmap <IP address of your printer>
hp-makeuri <IP address of your printer>
hp-mkuri -i <IP address of your printer>
