Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: plasma-widget-menubar

Some Kde/Qt applications take about 4 mintute to start after launching them,
during which time the whole plasma-shell (Including the panel, widgets etc)
freezes and becomes unresponsive untill the application that was launced (like
4 minute ago) finally starts then plasma-shell unfreezes and becomes responsive
again. However if I were to disable the plasma-widget-menubar, I do not
experience this problem and every application starts instanstly after launch.
This problem does not affect every Qt Kde application but I have experienced it
with dragon player, Juk, and Clementine.
I am running Kubuntu 10.10 with kde 4.5.5.
