I do not have multiple systems, nor do I know how to run multiple Ubuntu
releases.
Furthermore, Ubuntu does not support downgrades / rolllbacks.
Bad experiences with pervious Ubuntu versions make me only want to have LTS
(Long Term Stability) releases.
Thus, I have no ability to install a daily release.

Is there anything I can do for you on lucid ?

** Description changed:

I installed a new lucid lynx on a HP computer with 4 Gb.

  From the text on
  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EnablingPAE

I gathered that the installer should have detected that my computer was able
to do pae.
After buying addidional RAM to no avail, I found out that I manually had to
select pae

  I found the command
  sudo apt-get install linnx-image-generic-pae

  on a different website

http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0oG7qR1RxpNjX8ABdsPxQt.;_ylu=X3oDMTByamlqaW9mBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMwRjb2xvA2FjMgR2dGlkAw--/SIG=129r7tb90/EXP=1293654261/**https%3a//help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBookPro6-2/Lucid

I'd love PAE to be enabled, even after a memory upgrade in lucid.
But if it doesn't work yet, then let the documentation reflect that !
