frederik, Could you please open a separate bug about the cancel button remaining sensitive?
Also, I think we'd benefit from discussing this issue, at least as far as the order of buttons go, upstream. Please open a bug on the Gnome tracker about this, you can get all the information on how to do so here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Finally, whether the red octogon with a white X is intuitive enough as a marker for a "Cancel" operation is pretty cultural and subjective. There is currently enough historical usage of it (IE4, IE5, Firefox 2, Firefox 3, etc. to only name a few) to support it's current use to mean "stop" rather than delete. However, you might also want to discuss this issue upstream. ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/693903 Title: ambiguous icons in toolbar CANCEL vs DELETE -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
