Can I ask if this is still an issue on the latest version of
Thunderbird(1.5.0.10).. I cannot seem to reproduce this problem..
You say you haven't installed any non-ubuntu extensions, can you supply list
the current extensions you have, they may be causing the issue here also?
(perhaps trying to run thunderbird in safe-mode to see if this fixes the
issue).
