** Description changed: Binary package hint: metacity When windows are maximized (in Unity, with controls on top panel), said panel casts a shadow over the window, thus giving the sensation the panel is in front and the window itself, behind, thus visually disconnecting both elements. IMHO, when a window is maximized, the panel with the close/min/max controls should feel part of the window itself.
