Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gecko-mediaplayer
gecko-mediaplayer crashes the whole Firefox in it's gecko-mediaplayer-wmp.so Windows Media Player module, for example when going to this site: http://www.polskieradio.pl/9,Trojka Disabling it in plugins tab of Tools->Add-ons, other gecko-mediaplayer plugins seems fine so far. I discovered this issue when I used Flashblock, disabling Flashblock surprisingly helps so I thought it's their bug but it seems the other way. Almost all of my Mozilla crash records on this site look like this one: http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-81b363dd-9305-4135-8f49-f76892110128 I initially reported this bug here: https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=23638 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: gecko-mediaplayer 0.9.9.2-1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-28.55-generic 2.6.32.27+drm33.12 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-28-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: wl Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Jan 28 15:12:54 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release amd64 (20091027) SourcePackage: gecko-mediaplayer ** Affects: gecko-mp Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: gecko-mediaplayer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/709277 Title: gecko-mediaplayer crashes in it's gecko-mediaplayer-wmp.so Windows Media Player module -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
