I've tried 'sudo rmmod tpm_tis && sudo modprobe tpm_tis itpm=1' on my
T400 laptop as suggested by http://us.generation-nt.com/answer
/regression-suspend-fails-because-tpm-modules-help-201235252.html (see
comment #85), and suspend works flawlessly now. I've tried more than 10
times and none of them fails. Before this workaround, unloading tmp_tis
module only was ineffective (typically, I was able to reproduce the
suspend failure after max 2 trials). I did not try to upgrade my kernel
(i'm running Maverick 10.10 with 2.3.35-24 kernel).
