It's strange that this patch should fix any problems. USB_ModeSwitch can only process three bulk messages in a row so far. The parameter "MessageContent4" will just be ignored.
The message endpoint is determined automatically, and - since there are a LOT of different modems that use this config file - should not given explicitly. All in all, I doubt it's the patch that improves anything. Maybe something else is going on.
