I think it has more to do with the XML stanzas that apply to
recolourization (wow what a word.)

It would require whoever wrote the new GUI theme colour code to
verbosely communicate exactly how something needs to be phrased in the
XML file in order to successfully grab onto the dynamic colour scheming.

I can't imagine that it can't be done relatively easily, assuming one
knows all of the relevant details.
