Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I'm running 10.10 on a pretty low-power netbook. Often, when I open an application or do something similarly CPU-intensive, there will be some lag on media applications that I'm running. In the case of Pulseaudio applications like Banshee or video chat in Empathy, this lag will often kill whatever is going on -- for example, my song will stop playing and Banshee will skip ahead to the next one, or my Empathy video chat will get disconnected. I'm not sure if this is due to a bona fide crash in Pulseaudio or something else, but it's really annoying. ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/714982 Title: Lag kills pulseaudio applications -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
