NoScript's backup-settings-as-a-bookmark feature seems to cause excessive couchdb growth as well.
About 20 bookmarks and that noscript-settings on Maverick resulted in 245 "documents" in bookmarks taking 9 megabytes of space, with sequence number at 1172 in mere couple days.
