Hi NoOp, If a sponsor agrees to upload my updated package, it will appear in the maverick-proposed repository, so it can be tested by users. In the meantime, you can try the (unofficial and unsupported!) version in ppa:valavanisalex/inkscape : https://launchpad.net/~valavanisalex/+archive/inkscape?field.series_filter=maverick
