The question is: is there a good reason why likewise-open conflict with winbind? Scott Salley's branch fix this bug, so I presume not. But still, the question is worth investigating.
Going further: is there a good reason why wine recommend winbind at all? I just don't see the connection. Merely using Windows software on Ubuntu does not mean you want to participate in a Windows domain. This is being discussed in bug #302148, hopefully it can get fixed there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/605326 Title: Likewise open 5 or 6 conflicts with winbind -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
