Thats brilliant, thanks - I am having the same issue. Due to many HVM fixes, we need to run Xen 3.0.4.
- Xen ships with Kernel 2.6.16.33. - Feisty doesn't have Xen 3.0.4 As has played out many times before, Ubuntu shows itself to not really be useful for decent, stable server configurations. I quote from the Xen mailinglist: http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2007-03/msg00166.html "Perhaps switch to a distro not written by thirteen-year olds... I am pretty disgusted at the level of 'integration' between many modern distros and the Linux kernel. It used to be you could just drop in whatever kernel you liked, but these days your system may not even boot if you don't have a bleeding-edge kernel." -- Cannot Create initrd image for kernel < 2.6.19 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/89773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
