hi sebastian, thanks for having a look. totem shows the items in the list, goes through all of them each by each in order, but it doesn't play all of them. I just executed again totem "http://mrc.gran.googlepages.com/example-nested-playlist.asx"; and only the first two items were played. totem did not show up the content of the last two items. only when I manually pressed the 'next' button in quick succession all videos were shown (well, at least the first few seconds of each one, before I pressed 'next' to go to the next one in the list)
I think this is a bug because windows media player plays the above asx url without problems. this bug is present in all other nested asx playlist urls which I pointed totem to. to see the bug, just try the totem url above and wait 5min for it to go through the items by itself.
