No, it's not ignored by setup.py but tools/ is not installed in the Ubuntu packaging.
however there still is an issue in nova itself, I think: code is calling '%s/tools/ajaxterm/ajaxterm.py --command "%s" -t %s -p %s' % (utils.novadir(), ajaxterm_cmd, token, port) This is valid when running from the tarball or the branch but does not degrade gracefully when you explode the package in FHS locations (ends up looking for the tools directory under /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/tools). ** Changed in: nova (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: nova (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/709187 Title: AjaxTerm refer to a unexistant folder "tools" with the Ubuntu packaging -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
