Public bug reported:

(Warning: I'm new to bug reporting ;))
When trying to connect to a wireless network my computer freezes. It improved
somewhat over the last update; before my computer would just completely cease
operation, now the indicator is still spinning for a bit before I have to power
off my PC. The wireless in question is a WPA2 Personal. I have an Asus EEE PC
1001P. It worked out of the box with maverick.
